Analysis
For Wigan Athletic,
Hutchings has an almost full strength squad to choose from with
Mario Melchiot, Denny Landzaat, Antonio Valencia and Antoine
Sibierski all available after being sidelined in recent weeks.
Emile Heskey (fractured metatarsal) is another key player Wigan
have missed. Marcus Bent (stomach bug) is doubtful after missing
training on Thursday, although Michael Brown has recovered from
a thigh strain he suffered at Birmingham.
Chelsea will be
without full-back Paulo Ferreira due to ankle ligament damage
sustained in the Carling Cup win over Leicester. But Ashley Cole
is fit again in the next week. Cole has been sidelined with an
ankle problem and is recovering quicker than Terry, who has been
out of action after undergoing knee surgery.
