Analysis
For Inter Milan, The
suspended Walter Samuel must watch from the stands and joins the
Nerazzurri's long list of absentees which included Patrick
Vieira, Dejan Stankovic, Francesco Toldo, Luis Figo, Adriano and
Olivier Dacourt. Marco Materazzi will return to the starting XI
in place of Samuel alongside Ivan Ramiro Cordoba in central
defence. The impressive Luis Jimenez, who has pounced on his
opportunity to shine in the absence of Stankovic, continues
behind the front two strikers. Julio Cruz looks set to start
alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front with David Suazo on the
bench. Young midfielder Vitor Pele also drops to the bench
having made a decent first-team debut in the Beneamata's 3-0
victory over Lazio.
For Torino FC, Coach
Novellino is just missing injured defender Matteo Rubin. Alvaro
Recoba and Nicola Ventola will be available for this match.
