Analysis
Barcelona will be
having Dutch full-back Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Argentinian
striker Javier Saviola, who spent last season on loan at the
Andalusian side, looks set to start up front. Captain Carles
Puyol will miss the match, however because of having failed to
recover from the niggling injuries he aggravated in Spain's
defeat against Sweden last week. Mexico captain Rafael Marquez
will be paired with veteran French defender Lilian Thuram.
Ronaldinho looks set to start after his excellent performance
against Ecuador in the international break.
For Sevilla,
Striker Frederic Kanoute has been declared fit for the match
after returning injured from international duty with Mali last
week, and will partner with Kepa up front. Meanwhile, brazilian
right-back Daniel Alves has also declared fit to start.
