Rubin Kazan VS Torpedo Moscow

Russia Premier League

Posted on: September 29, 2014 at 6:24AM

Home Score: 3

Away Score: 0

Analysis:

Rubin are not doing well this season. They have only two wins after eight rounds and team from Kazan is maybe in a worst position in the last few years. Anyway, those two wins came in last four rounds and it seems like Bylatetdinovs side is waking up. In the last round they started well and were 1-0 up in Krasnodar but Kanunnikovs goal was not enough to save them from defeat. Coach can count on the strongest line up and that is good news for the hosts. On the other side, Torpedo are among the top favorites for relegation. They have one win, against UFA on the road and one draw against Amkar at home. They have conceded 23 goals in 8 matches which is almost 3 per match. They have 4 defeats in a row and it looks like a new one is coming.

Rops VS Jaro

Finland Veikkausliiga

Posted on: September 22, 2014 at 4:13AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 3

Analysis:

I will just be following the form here. Both sides are in the middle of the table, and it seems that both are safe from relegation. In this position and in the matches without a pressure of the result, usually goals are coming with ease. Rops are doing their usual hot & cold stuff, they either win or lose, there is no middle for them. The interesting fact is that they are a team with only 4 draws after 28 rounds, which is leagues minimal record. Last four rounds brought them three defeats and now they will be looking to seal their survival in this league. On the other side, Jaro are doing quite similar overall but they are better in recent matches. One defeat in four games and it was the one that was expected against HJK puts Jaro in the role of favorites in this match but I am not so convinced that I could take the straight AW here. Anyway, their last 4 games finished with these results: 3-3, 1-4, 3-3 and 3-2. I believe they will score some goals today and expect something like 2-2 or 2-3 here. Good luck.

Worms VS Walldorf

Germany Regionalliga Sudwest

Posted on: September 20, 2014 at 1:17AM

Home Score: 3

Away Score: 3

Analysis:

Once again I will be betting on goals in Regionalliga. This time I am really confident about it and odds at Sportingbet just have to be taken. Both sides are doing quite well so far, they are both in upper part of the table and although it is still early in the season, it seems that both have the capacity to give it a go for a top finish. Worms are just 2 points above their todays rivals and after 9 rounds they collected 17 points, 5 less than Offenbach who are placed in the promotion zone. Worms are in a good streak, 5 games without a defeat and 4 of those were wins. I must underline that all of those matches were really tough and Worms have shown quality. Apart from good results, they started scoring for fun, 4 goals in Neckarelz (with 3 conceded), 5 against Homburg and 3 in Freiburg in the last round. Their total GD is 19-12 after 9 matches which is over 3 per round in average. On the other side, Walldorf are doing great on the road, especially in last couple of rounds. Their 9-1 goal difference on the road says quite a lot about them but home matches are not even close to that record. They conceded 9 goals at home and just one away. What is quite unreal is the last two results in away games. First they have trashed Pirmasens on the road 6-0 and in the last round they made a shocking result by winning 3-0 in Kaiserslautern who looked quite confident until that match. I expect goals in both nets and the good scoring form to continue for both sides. These odds should be lower imo. Over 3.5 is my pick, good luck.

Tottenham VS Liverpool

English Premier League

Posted on: August 31, 2014 at 5:23AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

Yesterday we saw one of the best matches in Premier League in last couple of seasons. Everton and Chelsea scored 9 goals and by logic it can be hardly expected that we will see a goal fiesta in other derby match of the round. Still, I cannot look beyond goals in this one. Spurs have rotated in qualifications for Europa League and fatigue should not be a problem for them. They have a solid record against Liverpool but nothing will matter at White Hart Lane on Sunday as this will be 90 minutes of total football. Rodgers has been doing some controversial things lately such as bringing Mario Ballotelli and letting vice-captain Daniel Agger go to Brondby. As a fan of this club, I am not so sure about the support for this man by the fans. Anyway, I expect goals in both nets and game with at least 3 goals.

Amkar VS Spartak Moscow

Russian Premier League

Posted on: August 30, 2014 at 2:32AM

Home Score: 0

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

I like the betting offer for the away win in this match. Murat Yakin finally brought Spartak in its place, and it is fighting with the top sides for the title. Surely that reds have the quality for doing that, but they are really unlucky with injuries. Even so, they got defeated just once in five rounds. Wins came against Rubin, Dinamo, CSKA and Ufa, while the only defeat happened in Krasnodar. On the other side, Amkar started the season terribly. Just one point in five matches says enough about their current form. Putting aside defeats against Terek and Zenit on the road, you just cannot afford losing against Ufa at home. Spartak will once again be without 6 players, mostly midfielders, but they are used to that. I still believe they can pull at least a minimal win here.

Marseille VS Nice

French Ligue 1

Posted on: August 29, 2014 at 10:16AM

Home Score: 1

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

Marseille have started this season in a really poor way. They saved a point in Bastia at the opening of the season, lost at home against Montpellier and finally won in the last round in Guingamp. They are already five points behind leaders Bordeaux and it will be hard for them to stay in top 4 this season. On the other side, Nice have started a typical season for them. Bunch of unpredictable results and high level of inconsistency is all they are about. They got three points in the first round against Toulouse and then won a point in Lorient. In the last round, they conceded three goals against Bordeaux at home and lost the match. Now I expect a defensive approach from them and a boring game. Also, I do not expect that they will lose the match, because Marseille are simply too poor at the moment. I see a draw here.

Aalborg VS Dinamo Zagreb

UEFA Champions League Qualifications

Posted on: July 30, 2014 at 3:15AM

Home Score: 1

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

Dinamo Zagreb is in rising form, they have won 4 last games, two in champions legaue (both legs 2-0 against Zalgiris) and two games in HNL , one against Slaven Belupo and other against Lokomotiva Zagreb scoring 8 goals in 2 games. I have watched both of theire champions legaue matches against Zalgiris and i must say thath Dinamo has definetly imporved since the last season. They have brought 10 players in transfer period - Gonacalo (Estoril), Machado (Olympicaos Peirus), Andrijasevic (Hajduk ), Fernandes (Leverkusen), Eduardo (sporting Lisabon), Hodzic (Liverpol U21) , Eduardo (Genoa), Sigali (Deportivo) and Pjaca and Radonjic from Istra and Lokomotiva so i belive that Dinamo has ambitions to get into the groupe stage this year. This Machado is great players, most creative in Dinamo and with Soudani in atack I do not have suspicions in fact that Dinamo will score tonight. They have also brought Samardzic (who was captain of Sheriff Tiraspol) so now theire defence is even stronger. Maybe this players need some time to adapt to the club but i belive they can get 3 points tonight. On other hand Alborg is not in great form, from 2 games in Denmark Superlegaue they have collected four points. Allborg is missing Ahlmann which is key player for them on leftback, probably some youngster will take his place in tonights game,Jonsson and Dalsgaard are also ruled out while Helenius is not at 100 pct. after his return from Aston Villa. He is expected to play one half. Wurtz and Thomassen are back and are named in the match squad for tonight.

Germany VS Algeria

FIFA WORLD CUP

Posted on: June 30, 2014 at 6:14AM

Home Score: 4

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

I believe this will be one of the best matches in this round of World Cup. Two teams which are playing attacking football must produce a good game for spectators. Germans are traditionally a team who wins matches even if they do not play really well. They already struggled against one African side, Ghana, who led 2-1 but Germany saved a draw with goal by Miroslav Klose. Algeria are not technically trained like Ghana but they could outrun Germans tonight. Only problem, and it could prove to be a big one, will be Ramadan, Islamic month of fasting. Algerians stated that they will not be taking either food or water and it could be devastating for them tonight. It is not really so much about the result, as Algeria would probably lose even in the normal conditions, but I am afraid that we could see some bad scenes on the pitch. Anyway, back to prediction, I expect a win from Germany, a comfortable one.

France VS Nigeria

FIFA WORLD CUP

Posted on: June 30, 2014 at 5:59AM

Home Score: 3

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

I never really liked French national team, especially in big competitions but I must admit that Deschamps has made a really good side from what used to be a bunch of non-motivated world class players. Now they finally look like a team and with many younger players are a big threat even for lifting the trophy. They played really well in group and even in the last match when they did not need to win they created many goal scoring chances. On the other side, Nigeria has proven that there are no pushovers with a win against Bosnia and really good game against Argentina which they lost 3-2. Now, they really are outsiders in this one but I believe they will be physically superior then the French side. I expect a lot of running here and a rather fast match. Over 3 goals is my choice here.

Colombia VS Uruguay

FIFA WORLD CUP

Posted on: June 28, 2014 at 4:58AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

Besides the hosts of World Cup and Chile, another two South American teams will play tonight. Colombia will face Uruguay, and will seek for fourth win in Brazil, which would keep their 100% win rate. They had all three wins in the group, scoring 9 goals and conceding just 2. On the other side, Uruguay had a lot more difficult group, but managed to go through. They have beaten both Italy and England and sent them home. On the other side, defeat against Costa Rica will stay as a reminder that everything can collapse in just 45 minutes. Uruguay have secured play-offs but that will surely remain in shade of an incident that involved Luis Suarez. His third biting in career got him a long ban from football and we will see how will Uruguay cope without their key man tonight. I believe Colombians will win this one.
