Freiburg VS. Stuttgart

German Bundesliga

Posted on: November 28, 2014 at 11:40AM

Home Score: 1

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

Freiburg and Stuttgart will meet tonight in Germany sunniest city but there are grey times for both these teams, both being serious relegation contenders. Stuttgart has dodged the bullet last season, barely avoiding relegation but this season their luck seems to have run out, they sit in 18th place at the moment, they have only won 2 matches from the first 12, but away from Mercedes Benz Arena they have been pretty decent, they have won 1, drawn 2 and lost 3 scored 10 and received 14, their problems have mostly been at home. Freiburg on the other hand has registered some very good results lately, they have won 3 and drawn 1 in their last 4 games in Bundesliga and DFB Pokal. At MAGE Solar Stadium Freiburg games are mostly underish and with a great tendency towards draws. I think both teams would be pleased with a draw, so thats my bet for todays game.

Verona VS Lazio

Italy Serie A

Posted on: October 30, 2014 at 5:53AM

Home Score: 0

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

The last match of 9th round of Serie A will be played tonight and Verona are hosting Lazio. Team from Rome is doing far better than they expected and with a win tonight they could get into Champions League zone. They have connected four wins in a row and among those wins there were some pretty good ones like the one against Fiorentina on the road. Lazio will have to face a difficult history because they never won in Verona. On the other side, hosts are playing some crazy games. Two heavy losses in the last two matches make this game quite difficult for them. They lost 1-3 against Milan at home and were destroyed in Naples couple of days ago, when they traveled home with 6 goals in their net. I believe Lazio will use this chance well and that they will wait the next round in the third spot.

Cagliari VS Milan

Italy Serie A

Posted on: October 29, 2014 at 4:05AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

Cagliari surprised everyone with a 4-0 win in the last round. I am not saying that Empoli are a force but they were favorites to win the match at their home soil. Anyway, Cagliari continued their good streak of results after the 2-2 draw against Sampdoria. We must not forget the 4-1 win against Inter in Milano couple of rounds ago. All I am trying to say that Cagliari are definitely not afraid of playing against bigger clubs. On the other side, Milan are without defeat for 5 rounds but that doesnt mean much for this club as it is used to better results. They are even outside of Europa League zone at the moment and will have to search for a win here. They have great history of results when playing against this team and they will surely try to continue in the same way. On the other side, I would definitely stay away from betting on the away win. Goals are my choice here.

Liverpool VS Swansea

English Capital One Cup

Posted on: October 28, 2014 at 5:50AM

Home Score: 1

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

There are few reasons why I believe Liverpool will lose the match tonight. First one, bad form. I am just impressed by how bad they look this season. Okay, Suarez is gone but it seems that they have forgotten how to play the game. Gerrard is extremely slow, Balottelli just cant settle in the role that Suarez had. Defence is by far the worst part of the team, Lovren is a flop of the year while Skrtel is simply a bad player for a Champions League side. Mentioning that competition, that is second reason for laying Liverpool here. They have a tough calendar with the Champions League and Premier League, and this competition is just not needed with all of that. They have a short bench, and players keep getting injured week after week. On the other side, Swans are playing without pressure and in that style I believe they will go through in this competition. Good luck.

Nancy VS Le Havre

French Ligue 2

Posted on: October 27, 2014 at 9:39AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

I find this odds very tempting, considering that both teams have not missed the opportunity to score at least one goal in their last five games. Nancy is still undefeated on their Stade Marcel Picot, and seeking victory tonight for connection to the top of the table. Recent performances of the team is more than encouraging, and fans have recognized this and come in large numbers, hoping for promotion to Ligue 1. The match will be broadcasted in prime time. Great occasion for attackers to show, and Dembele is currently in top form with seven goals in the previous five games. I expect two goals from the hosts, and exciting game with plenty of chances. Le Havre have similar ambitions for promotion, and the same number of points as Nancy. The last five matches unbeaten with four wins definitely inspires confidence to players trained by coach Mombaerts. Appetites are increased, and if they want something more will have to remain equally good when playing away from home. They do not have nice memories when performing in this stadium, losing the last five games, but every tradition comes to an end. I expect them to provide decent resistance, and they have players who are able to score at any time. The last five meetings between these two teams were with goals, four times with three or more goals. I hope it will be the same this time, and the odds for this are fantastic.

Rubin Kazan VS Torpedo Moscow

Russia Premier League

Posted on: September 29, 2014 at 6:24AM

Home Score: 3

Away Score: 0

Analysis:

Rubin are not doing well this season. They have only two wins after eight rounds and team from Kazan is maybe in a worst position in the last few years. Anyway, those two wins came in last four rounds and it seems like Bylatetdinovs side is waking up. In the last round they started well and were 1-0 up in Krasnodar but Kanunnikovs goal was not enough to save them from defeat. Coach can count on the strongest line up and that is good news for the hosts. On the other side, Torpedo are among the top favorites for relegation. They have one win, against UFA on the road and one draw against Amkar at home. They have conceded 23 goals in 8 matches which is almost 3 per match. They have 4 defeats in a row and it looks like a new one is coming.

Rops VS Jaro

Finland Veikkausliiga

Posted on: September 22, 2014 at 4:13AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 3

Analysis:

I will just be following the form here. Both sides are in the middle of the table, and it seems that both are safe from relegation. In this position and in the matches without a pressure of the result, usually goals are coming with ease. Rops are doing their usual hot & cold stuff, they either win or lose, there is no middle for them. The interesting fact is that they are a team with only 4 draws after 28 rounds, which is leagues minimal record. Last four rounds brought them three defeats and now they will be looking to seal their survival in this league. On the other side, Jaro are doing quite similar overall but they are better in recent matches. One defeat in four games and it was the one that was expected against HJK puts Jaro in the role of favorites in this match but I am not so convinced that I could take the straight AW here. Anyway, their last 4 games finished with these results: 3-3, 1-4, 3-3 and 3-2. I believe they will score some goals today and expect something like 2-2 or 2-3 here. Good luck.

Worms VS Walldorf

Germany Regionalliga Sudwest

Posted on: September 20, 2014 at 1:17AM

Home Score: 3

Away Score: 3

Analysis:

Once again I will be betting on goals in Regionalliga. This time I am really confident about it and odds at Sportingbet just have to be taken. Both sides are doing quite well so far, they are both in upper part of the table and although it is still early in the season, it seems that both have the capacity to give it a go for a top finish. Worms are just 2 points above their todays rivals and after 9 rounds they collected 17 points, 5 less than Offenbach who are placed in the promotion zone. Worms are in a good streak, 5 games without a defeat and 4 of those were wins. I must underline that all of those matches were really tough and Worms have shown quality. Apart from good results, they started scoring for fun, 4 goals in Neckarelz (with 3 conceded), 5 against Homburg and 3 in Freiburg in the last round. Their total GD is 19-12 after 9 matches which is over 3 per round in average. On the other side, Walldorf are doing great on the road, especially in last couple of rounds. Their 9-1 goal difference on the road says quite a lot about them but home matches are not even close to that record. They conceded 9 goals at home and just one away. What is quite unreal is the last two results in away games. First they have trashed Pirmasens on the road 6-0 and in the last round they made a shocking result by winning 3-0 in Kaiserslautern who looked quite confident until that match. I expect goals in both nets and the good scoring form to continue for both sides. These odds should be lower imo. Over 3.5 is my pick, good luck.

Tottenham VS Liverpool

English Premier League

Posted on: August 31, 2014 at 5:23AM

Home Score: 2

Away Score: 2

Analysis:

Yesterday we saw one of the best matches in Premier League in last couple of seasons. Everton and Chelsea scored 9 goals and by logic it can be hardly expected that we will see a goal fiesta in other derby match of the round. Still, I cannot look beyond goals in this one. Spurs have rotated in qualifications for Europa League and fatigue should not be a problem for them. They have a solid record against Liverpool but nothing will matter at White Hart Lane on Sunday as this will be 90 minutes of total football. Rodgers has been doing some controversial things lately such as bringing Mario Ballotelli and letting vice-captain Daniel Agger go to Brondby. As a fan of this club, I am not so sure about the support for this man by the fans. Anyway, I expect goals in both nets and game with at least 3 goals.

Amkar VS Spartak Moscow

Russian Premier League

Posted on: August 30, 2014 at 2:32AM

Home Score: 0

Away Score: 1

Analysis:

I like the betting offer for the away win in this match. Murat Yakin finally brought Spartak in its place, and it is fighting with the top sides for the title. Surely that reds have the quality for doing that, but they are really unlucky with injuries. Even so, they got defeated just once in five rounds. Wins came against Rubin, Dinamo, CSKA and Ufa, while the only defeat happened in Krasnodar. On the other side, Amkar started the season terribly. Just one point in five matches says enough about their current form. Putting aside defeats against Terek and Zenit on the road, you just cannot afford losing against Ufa at home. Spartak will once again be without 6 players, mostly midfielders, but they are used to that. I still believe they can pull at least a minimal win here.
